Producing large-scale remote events with uniformity can be tricky, especially when contributors are all utilizing different streaming methods and equipment, not to mention the various challenges surrounding local Internet and WiFi.
What we came up with was the Pixel Kit, a remote broadcast solution that we've delivered to contributors across the country for such recent events as The Atlantic Festival and the 2020 Democratic National Convention.
The kits are easy to ship and setup, with the familiar mobile phones and tablets, along with a simple light, microphone and earpiece set, all in a sturdy protective case. And most importantly, our Rivet app allows us to remotely control the camera, including settings, recordings, live transmissions and even uploads.
