On the Summer Solstice, Live X streamed "Mind over Madness", a full day of Yoga classes for participants gathered throughout Times Square and online around the globe. The webcast that reached over 1 million worldwide via Facebook, Twitter and Periscope.
The event, in its 16th season, is organized by the Times Square Alliance. Throuhout the longest day of the year, the program offers participants a variety of forms of yoga that they can join for free either at the Crossroads of the World, or anywhere online, from sunrise to sunset.
Live X used three remotely operated PTZ cameras which offer a smaller footprint, non-stop operation for the duration of the event. The show was switched on vMix, fed via satellite from a production truck in Times Square to a master control room, and encoded on a Production Bot Switch 8 to stream to the social platforms.
