This week Rob unboxes the Atomos Shogun Flame 4K Monitor/Recorder. It's one we've been waiting since NAB to get our hands on to use with our VR rig.
The Atomos Flame features:

- four SSD cases for non-proprietary media and reader
- XLR breakout cable to bring in external audio sources
- two Sony L-series batteries (MPF750)
- rubberized corners on the monitor

- lanc remote
- batteries, SSD on the back, power, and in/out sync on the back
- can frame sync on the recorder which is perfect for VR
- r1/4"-20 mount on top and bottom in the center
- very durable (same quality as the Pelican case it comes in)
- instructions on how to download firmware and register warranty on the screen protective plastic
- ridge sound the screen to help with durability in case it falls

- hood for the monitor is VERY big
- good for the outdoors, little pocket so you can change settings without removing the entire hood
- padded carrying strap for carrying your Pelican case
- two power bricks to come with one for the battery charger and one for the recorder itself
- D-Tap cable for V-Mount batteries
