2024 Election Eve Rally

On the eve of one of the most talked about election cycles in U.S. history, Vice President Kamala Harris, with running mate Governor Tim Walz, wanted a way to showcase how American voters were sharing the joy of making their voice heard across the nation.

Utilizing the entire Green Bay, WI broadcast facility, the Live X Team was directed remotely from lead producers located in Washington D.C., while being supported by one of the largest satellite downlink trucks in North America. Live X remotely managed communications and took in three to four feeds from eight on-site production and camera teams located in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Phoneix, Raleigh, Detroit, Milwaukee and Pittsburg.

Hosted by DJ Cassidy, teams across the nation were able to capture performances in round-robin style from Cedric The Entertainer, Katy Perry, Morehouse Marching Band, Sugarland,  La Original Banda El Limón, Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, War & Treaty with Bon Jovi, Detroit Youth Choir, Lady Gaga, will.i.am, and Oprah Winfrey.

The four-hour Vote for Freedom Rallies event was made possible across four remote control rooms, one master control room and two additional spaces - all operated in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Included in the broadcast was a live-to-tape replay, live replay, vertical and horizontal graphic playback and an ASL accessibility feed, streamed to over 10 destinations with over a million viewers.
