Live X produced the live webcast for President Obama's Interview, by Vox's Ezra Klein and Sarah Kliff, on the future of Obamacare.
Set in Blair House, The President's Guest House, the event was extended beyond an hour, as the President discussed the history, present, and future of the Affordable Care Act and what it means for Americans. The onsite audience included over fifty members of Vox's Facebook community of Obamacare enrollees, and the online audience, via Vox's Youtube and Facebook platforms, reached over 500,000 people in the first 24 hours.
The White House provided a center-wide camera with audio feed, and Vox provided two additional cameras for closeups of the President and interviewers. Live X switched and encoded the event on our custom servers with GTX 1080 GPUs and vMix software, streaming simultaneously to Facebook and Youtube platforms.
