Back in September, we produced the live stream for the launch of the new DJI Mavic. The much-anticipated drone release was broadcast across 10 platforms including YouTube, DJI US and China product websites, Facebook in the US and Europe, and a bevy of China's social media platforms including Weibo and YouKu.
The key to our success for this broadcast was the T-Rax system from Teradek. The size of the system was a huge benefit. In the single 3RU T-Rax, we were able to get the same reliability and encode quality as we would with a whole room full of server systems. Using the combination of CORE, Teradek's cloud-based management system, and the T-RAX we were able to constantly monitor the stream, encoders, decoders, and satellite all on one screen.
