NDI® is a powerful way to move video in and out of your production environment—and with LiveX’s Virtual Video Control Room, it’s easier than ever to integrate into your workflow.
In the walkthrough below we demonstrate how to enable NDI within VVCR by starting with the right foundation: a cluster with transcoding enabled. This is the key requirement that unlocks NDI functionality across your streams and production instances.
Once your cluster is configured, creating a stream with NDI output is straightforward. With transcoding enabled, VVCR allows you to route feeds directly into your production instance—like vMix—using NDI. From there, your workflow becomes incredibly flexible. You can pull VBCR streams into vMix for switching, graphics, or enhancement, then send your program feed right back into VVCR via NDI for distribution.
LiveX production instances come preloaded with essential tools like vMix, NDI Tools, and more, making setup fast and efficient. With recommended configurations, you can ensure smooth performance for even the most demanding live streams.
The result? A seamless, bidirectional workflow that lets you create, manage, and distribute content with total control—all powered by LiveX.
