Here at LiveX we are always looking to improve and evolve, especially in an increasingly remote environment that continues to reshape workflows and upend the technology that we work with on a daily basis.
One way LiveX plans on taking big steps forward in the coming months was unveiled yesterday with Panasonic's announcement that the LiveX 4K Studio will be installing KAIROS later this year.
Through the addition of KAIROS, we will upgrade our master control room to streamline workflows as well as automate our studio. We will be able to utilize the platform’s built-in features including the ability to control all its cameras through one IP network, color correct, playback shots and edit graphics. Additionally, KAIROS will allow us to have fewer operators on set, creating opportunities for more guests, creative set configurations and the ability to expand our programming.
We'll also leverage a Panasonic Technopoint robotic camera system. By combining the Technopoint TUNING floor totem with Panasonic’s AW-UE150 4K 60p professional Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras, our studio will bring a new level of movement to its remote camera live production workflows. Specially designed to integrate with Panasonic PTZ cameras, the Technopoint system will allow us to add more production value and creativity into our sets and shots from a single controller. Six new AW-UE150 PTZs will also support SRT protocol for 4K/60p video streaming, providing stability while transmitting high-quality video.
We're thrilled to be moving forward with this technology from Panasonic and to continue to find new and innovative ways to help our clients communicate to the widest possible audience with ease.
