The Blackmagic Design Studio Fiber Converter works hand in hand with the Blackmagic Camera Fiber Converter to condense essential connections and full power into a single SMPTE fiber optic cable.
The SMPTE fiber optic cable features a two-way fiber pair, data pair, power pair, and central strength member for durable, continuous use up to 1.2 miles. Users can install cameras in remote locations without the worry of power drops because the Studio Fiber automatically performs safety checks. The Studio Fiber will convert all camera signals into standard television industry connections, which then can be connected to camera control units, live production switchers, or audio mixers.
