The LiveShell X allows you to stream without using a PC, and multicasts up to 3 simultaneous streams.
The LiveShell X is a small and light unit, making it easy to mount on top of your camera with a shoe mount. You can stream directly from the unit without the use of a PC and it comes with a battery that lasts up to 6 hours, making it portable and less invasive. It also allows for three simultaneous streams and records to a microSD card.
The LiveShell X can connect to the internet in three ways: ethernet, wi-fi or a 3G/4G USB modem. If any connection or power issues happen during the stream, LiveShell X will automatically resume broadcasting once the issues are fixed. Although a PC isn't needed, the encoder has a web-based control panel called Dashboard where users can control video quality, audio level, bit rate and cue timing. Graphics and subtitles can be added to the stream from the Dashboard as well. It can be accessed from your smartphone, tablet or any computer with an internet connection.
