Democratic National Convention 2020 - Live Production, Encoding
Democratic National Convention 2020
Amidst a global pandemic, LiveX was creating and implementing new ways to produce shows remotely including building Virtual Video Control Room and our Rivet application, both of which were utilized for the 2020 Democratic National Convention.
LiveX partnered with KEI to produce the first ever virtual roll call. Normally done in person, this roll call was required to adhere to CDC guidelines for social distancing. LiveX and Castlepoint Technologies created remote kits, which were shipped to roll call participants to record their nominating votes remotely.
LiveX produced the roll call of all 57 states and territories, from Hawaii to Maine, and everywhere in between from LiveX Studio in New York City. LiveX also hosted live hits in the national broadcast of Cory Booker and Andrew Yang live from the studio in New York for their remarks during the convention.
In addition, LiveX provided transmission, encoding and more on location in Milwaukee for the DNC.
