Welcome to the official launch of Rivet, the LiveX application that helps producers bring in remote guests to their live and on-demand shows. Rivet allows you to contribute live streams with return audio & video to production & broadcast facilities around the world.
We've made things as easy as possible for you and your contributors by:
- Managing your connections. Your guest contributors can get a link that will open on almost any device (iOS, Android, MacOS or Windows)
- Building in reliability. Rivet is built on the open-source protocol SRT. It is a codec agnostic UDP Transport protocol created to deal with network congestion in order to help solve those 1st mile problems that come from less than ideal internet locations.
- Ensuring security. Rivet features secure authentication & Advanced Encryption Standard Options of 128, 192 & 256 encryption.
- Providing support. Rivet features a dedicated Slack channel for any questions you have or issues you may encounter while utilizing the application.
We'd like to thank our beta users for their hard work in beta testing Rivet these last several months. Because of their participation, we have been able to discover Rivet’s strengths and weaknesses, streamline the user experience, stress test in a variety of real-world conditions, and make it the app that we are excited to officially launch.
